Project Overview

VLI Timber is currently implementing a European Union-funded project titled “Technologies to Increase Energy Efficiency Implementation at UAB VLI Timber” (Project No. 02-056-K-0037) aimed at enhancing industrial energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

VLI Timber, operating since 2009, is a leading producer in the kiln-dried firewood market in both Lithuania and international markets, supplying high-quality kiln-dried firewood for stoves and fireplaces.



Project Objectives

The main objective of the project is to implement technologies that increase energy efficiency across the company’s production processes, with a specific goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 30%.

The project supports the optimisation of energy consumption and operational costs, contributing to sustainable industrial production and environmental performance improvements.
