About Vli Timber

Established in 2009, UAB Vli Timber is a Lithuanian enterprise engaged in manufacture and export of biofuel products.

Main articles are: fresh and kiln dried firewood packed in crates, net bags or Vli Timber plastic bags. Every production stage starting from sourcing of wood, firewood drying, stacking to quality control, is carefully monitored by qualified specialists in order to assure each step is completely accurately.

Vli Firewood is produced from logs, sourced from well-managed forests as company operates under FSC® chain of custody (FSC-C109548) policy. Before entering production site, logs are carefully selected and sorted against certain criteria.

Firewood is cut either to 25cm, 30cm or length pieces. Log pieces undergo several sorting stages, thus rotten or
non-standard logs are set aside while good ones end up in pallets. Hand-stacking allows to fit as much firewood into
one crate as possible.

Packed firewood is dried in special timber drying kilns, reaching up to 90°C temperature. Heat-treated logs have low
moisture content (usually less than 18%) they are mould and pest-free.
