# Vli Timber > Hardwood Logs for Wood Burning Stoves & Open Fires ### UAB VLI TIMBER TVARIOS INVESTICIJOS Į GAMYBOS PAJĖGUMŲ PLĖTRĄ JONAVOS RAJONE Pagrindinė šiuo projektu sprendžiama problema - naujos medienos džiovyklos gamyklos sukūrimas, įrengiant ją inovatyvia, aplinkosaugos kriterijus atitinkančia įranga bei kuriant naujas darbo vietas Jonavos rajone. Projektu siekiama užtikrinti prisidėjimą prie Jonavos raj. savivaldybės augimo, vystymosi, pritraukiant klimatui neutralias investicijas ir sukuriant papildomas darbo vietas. Siekiant perėjimo link klimatui neutralios ekonomikos, numatomi darbuotojų mokymai ir perkvalifikavimas, kurie būtini dėl numatomų inovatyvių technologijų ir įrangos diegimo, tiek dėl tvarių darbo vietų kūrimo. Projekto įgyvendinimo metu UAB „Vli Timber“ planuoja sukurti 150 tvarių darbo vietų ir apmokyti visus (tiek jau dirbančius, tiek ketinamus įdarbinti) darbuotojus, suteikiant jiems pramonės pertvarkai reikalingų įgūdžių. Šios investicijos leis UAB „Vli Timber“ plėtoti veiklą, kurti naujas darbo vietas, vystyti turimą know-how ir kurti inovatyvius produktus. Projekto tikslas - Įdiegti naują įrangą bei išplėsti gamybos apimtis papildomai sukuriant darbo vietas ir apmokant darbuotojus. Projekte numatomi įvairūs rezultatai, įskaitant: Naujos, klimatui nekenksmingos gamyklos ir įrangos įrengimas. 150 tvarių darbo vietų sukūrimas Jonavos rajone. 150 darbuotojų mokymas ir perkvalifikavimas, siekiant patobulinti įgūdžius, atitinkančius projekto novatorišką ir tvarų požiūrį. Šis projektas finansuojamas pagal Europos Sąjungos iniciatyvas, skirtas investicinei aplinkai Lietuvoje gerinti, konkrečiai orientuojantis į projektus, turinčius didelį darbo vietų kūrimo potencialą nurodytuose regionuose. Bendra projekto vertė – 11 693 757,00 EUR, ES finansavimas – 8 098 280,00 Eur Projektas įgyvendinamas nuo 2024 m. lapkričio 30 d. iki 2027 m. lapkričio 30 d. ### Atsinaujinančius energijos išteklius naudojančių energijos gamybos pajėgumų diegimas UAB Vli Timber UAB “Vli Timber“, veikianti nuo 2009 m., yra lyderiaujanti įmonė džiovintų malkų ruošos rinkoje ne tik Lietuvoje, bet ir pasaulyje. Įmonė gamina ir prekiauja aukščiausios kokybės džiovintomis malkomis krosnims ir židiniams. Įmonės gamybinių procesų įgyvendinimui reikalingos didelės elektros energijos sąnaudos, kurios dėl įmonės gamybinės plėtros pastaraisiais metais ženkliai išaugo. Siekdama optimizuoti gamybos sąnaudas ir didinti investicijas į produkcijos apimtis bei mažinti neigiamą gamybos procesų įtaką aplinkai ir remdamasi 2022 m. atlikto energijos vartojimo audito ataskaitos išvadomis, UAB „Vli Timber“ inicijavo projektą, kurio metu numatoma įrengti atsinaujinančius energijos išteklius (AEI) naudojančius energijos gamybos pajėgumus. Projekto įgyvendinimo metu bus įrengta 349,89 kW galios saulės elektrinė. Bendra projekto vertė – 192.798,80 Eur. Projektui skirtas finansavimas iš Regioninės plėtros fondo – 74.161,04 Eur. Nuosavos projekto vykdytojo lėšos – 79.865,02 Eur. Netinkamos finansuoti išlaidos - 38.772,74 Eur. Projektas įgyvendinamas nuo 2023 m. liepos 24 d. iki 2025 m. liepos 31 d. ### UAB "Vli Timber" įgyvendina ES lėšomis finansuojamą projektą UAB „Vli Timber“ šiuo metu įgyvendina Europos Sąjungos finansuojamą projektą „Technologijų didinančių energijos vartojimo efektyvumą diegimas UAB „Vli Timber“ “ 02-056-K-0037. UAB „Vli Timber“, veikianti nuo 2009 m., yra lyderiaujanti įmonė džiovintų malkų ruošos rinkoje ne tik Lietuvoje, bet ir pasaulyje. Įmonė gamina ir prekiauja aukščiausios kokybės džiovintomis malkomis krosnims ir židiniams. Įmonės misija – suteikti šilumą ir jaukumą kiekvienų namams. Medienos ruoša kurui užsiimanti UAB „Vli Timber“ vadovaujasi aplinkos ir socialinės atsakomybės principais – gautas FSC gamybos grandinės sertifikatas užtikrina, kad gamybai naudojama mediena tiekiama tik iš atsakingai tvarkomų miškų. Įmonėje gamybos procesai vykdomi vadovaujantis LEAN sistema. Projektas prisidės prie mažesnio pirminės energijos suvartojimo kiekio bei išmetamo ŠESD kiekio mažinimo. Taip bus prisidedama prie bendro Lietuvos poveikio klimato kaitai, švarios ir teisingos energetikos, žiedinės ekonomikos skatinimo, prisitaikymo prie klimato kaitos, ekstremalių klimato reiškinių rizikos prevencijos ir rizikos valdymo, sprendžiama oro taršos, efektyvaus išteklių naudojimo problema. Kasmet augantis suvartojamos energijos kiekis ir išaugusios energetikos kainos, skatina įmonę įvertinti suvartojamos energijos kiekį ir galimybes vartoti energiją efektyviau didinant energijos vartojimo efektyvumą. Taip pat, atsižvelgiant į globalių tvaraus vartojimo, ekologiškumo tendencijų įsitvirtinimą tiek konkurentų, tiek galutinių vartotojų terpėje, skatina įmonę ieškoti įvairių priemonių, technologijų, procesų tausojančių aplinką ir mažinančių ŠESD kiekį, diegimą. UAB „Vli Timber“ atliko energijos vartojimo auditą ir vadovaudamasi jame pateiktomis rekomendacijomis planuoja diegti technologinį sprendimą, kuris įmonei leis efektyviau vartoti energiją ir mažinti įmonės išmetamą ŠESD kiekį bent 30 proc. technologiniuose procesuose. Projekto veiklos pradėtos įgyvendinti 2024 m. rugpjūčio mėn., o planuojama pabaiga – 2027 m. rugpjūčio mėn.   ### UAB „Vli Timber“ įgyvendina NORVEGIJOS FINANSINIO MECHANIZMO PROGRAMOS „VERSLO PLĖTRA, INOVACIJOS IR MVĮ“ finansuojamą projektą UAB „Vli Timber“ šiuo metu įgyvendina NORVEGIJOS FINANSINIO MECHANIZMO PROGRAMOS „VERSLO PLĖTRA, INOVACIJOS IR MVĮ“ dalinai finansuojamą projektą „NAUJŲ TECHNOLOGINIŲ SPRENDIMŲ SKIRTŲ GAMYBOS PROCESŲ SKAITMENINIMUI IR AUTOMATIZAVIMUI DIEGIMAS UAB VLI TIMBER“ Nr. LT07-1-EIM-K05-014 (toliau – Projektas). Nuo 2009 m. veikianti įmonė yra didžiausia džiovintų malkų gamintoja Lietuvoje, kurios misija - gaminti aukščiausios kokybės džiovintas malkas krosnims ir židiniams. UAB „Vli Timber“ siekdama padidinti įmonės gamybos procesų efektyvumą ir darbo našumą, iniciavo minėtą projektą, kurio metu bus diegiami nauji technologiniai sprendimai, skirti gamybos procesų skaitmeninimui ir automatizavimui. Šios veiklos tikslas - įsigyti ir gamybos procese įdiegti automatizuotą malkų skersavimo ir skaldymo įrangą (liniją) bei produkcijos paletavimo robotą. Gamybos procesų automatozavimas ir skaitmeninimas leis reikšmingai padidinti gamybos efektyvumą ir darbo našumą. Įranga bus diegiama UAB "Vli Timber" nuosavybės teise priklausančiame objekte adresu Gražiavietės g. 5, Kurklių II k., LT-29236 Anykščių r.Įranga konkurso būdu bus įsigyjama iš įrangos gamintojo arba oficialaus gamintojo atstovo. Šis Projektas įgyvendinamas iš 2014–2021 m. Norvegijos finansinio mechanizmo ir Lietuvos Respublikos valstybės biudžeto lėšų. Projekto kodas Nr. LT07-1-EIM-K05-014, pagal 2014–2021 m. Norvegijos finansinio mechanizmo programos „Verslo plėtra, inovacijos ir MVĮ“ Padidejes Lietuvos imonių konkurencingumas žaliosios pramonės inovacijų, iskaitant bioekonomiką, ir informacinių ryšių technologiju srityse. Bendra projekto vertė siekia 1 033 754,00 eurų, iš kurių 516 667,36 eurus sudaro Europos Sąjungos subsidija, o 517 086,64 eurai – įmonės nuosavas indėlis. Projekto veiklos pradėtos įgyvendinti 2023 m. rugpjūčio mėn. 14 d. ir bus užbaigtos 2024 m. balandžio mėn. 30 d. ### Nauja automatika ir robotai leis „VLI Timber“ auginti gamybą daugiau kaip 40 proc.   Įdiegti naują įrangą padėjo Norvegijos fondų suteiktas finansavimas  Įgyvendinusi Norvegijos finansuojamą projektą didžiausia Baltijos šalyse džiovintų malkų gamintoja „VLI Timber“ įdiegė naujus technologinius sprendimus, kurie automatizavo ir skaitmenizavo medienos rūšiavimą, pjovimą ir skaldymą, taip pat – pakavimą. Anykščiuose veikiančiai gamyklai šio projekto įgyvendinimas ne tik suteikia galimybę daugiau kaip 40 proc. padidinti gamyklos pajėgumus, bet ir greičiau įvykdyti klientų užsakymus, užtikrinti aukštesnę produkcijos kokybę, labiau tausoti gamtą.  „Modernūs medienos apdorojimo ir pakavimo būdai prisideda prie aplinkos išsaugojimo – pasitelkus naujuosius sprendimus žaliavinė mediena panaudojama maksimaliai, paliekant minimumą atliekų, o automatinė produkcijos paletavimo sistema užtikrina efektyviausią palečių užpildymą“, – kitas įgyvendinto projekto naudas vardina Darius Lackus, „VLI Timber“ vadovas. – Tokiu būdu efektyviau išnaudojami palečių plotai, daugiau produkcijos galima pakrauti į tą pačią transporto priemonę, mažėja kelių apkrovimas ir išmetamųjų dujų kiekis.“ Dvišalės partnerystės nauda – kartu įgyvendinami modernizavimo projektai  Siekdama stiprinti dvišalius santykius su Lietuva ir mažinti ekonominius ir socialinius skirtumus Europos ekonominėje erdvėje, mūsų šalies bendrovėms Norvegija teikia tęstinę finansinę paramą. „VLI Timber“, glaudžiai bendradarbiaudama su Norvegijos bendrove „Vepak“, pernai kreipėsi finansavimo. Bendru sutarimu buvo iškeltas tikslas automatizuoti medienos parengimo, malkų gamybos ir pakavimo procesus. Pernai rugpjūtį Norvegijos suteikta finansinė parama sudarė 516,7 tūkst. Eur, o daugiau kaip 517 tūkst. Eur šio projekto įgyvendinimui skyrė pati „VLI Timber“.  Projektas „Nauji technologiniai spendimai, skirti gamybos procesų skaitmeninimui ir automatizavimui“ įgyvendintas per mažiau nei devynis mėnesius, per kuriuos malkų gamykla įsigijo inovatyvią malkų skersavimo ir skaldymo liniją, taip pat – produkcijos paletavimo robotą. Šios technologijos padės pagreitinti ir efektyviau organizuoti gamybą ir sumažinti jos kaštus. Visiškai automatizuota malkų skersavimo ir skaldymo linija leis pagreitinti gamybos procesą ir daugiau kaip 40 proc. padidinti gamybos apimtis, mažinti žmogiškųjų resursų poreikį.  „Dabar vienas darbuotojas gali prižiūrėti visą skersavimo ir skaldymo liniją bei efektyviau naudoti žaliavas – produkcijos išeiga padidėjo nuo 90 proc. iki 95 proc.“, – aiškina D. Lackus.  Jo teigimu, nauja automatinė linija ženkliai pagreitina produkcijos paletavimą – pagal pasirinktas schemas pagamintų malkų maišeliai padedami ant palečių kas 2–3 sekundes, todėl mažėja žmonių fizinio darbo poreikis.  „VLI Timber“ vadovas teigia, kad taip pat taupomi veiklos kaštai: robotas leidžia sutalpinti ant paletės daugiau produkcijos, todėl mažėja transportavimo išlaidos bei paletavimo plėvelės naudojimas.   Įvertinta, kad projekto metu diegiamų technologijų pagalba įmonės darbo našumas pirmais metais po projekto (2025 m.) palyginti su 2022 m. išaugs daugiau kaip 40 proc. Visa tai kartu su įmonės sukaupta veiklos patirtimi, kvalifikuotu personalu, moderniais gamybos procesais leis kompleksiškai užtikrinti klientų poreikius ir įgyti ilgalaikį konkurencinį pranašumą. UAB „Vli Timber“ veikia nuo 2009 m. ir pagal veiklos apimtis yra pirmaujanti džiovintų malkų gamintoja ne tik Baltijos šalyse, bet ir pasaulyje. 2023 m. duomenimis, „VLI Timber“ pajamos pasiekė 20,7 mln. Bendra projekto vertė – 702.000,00 Eur. Iš Europos regioninės plėtros fondo ir Lietuvos Respublikos fondų projektui skirtas finansavimas – 300.000,00 Eur. Pareiškėjo ir partnerių nuosavos lėšos – 323.074.00 Eur. Netinkamos finansuoti išlaidos - 78.926,00 Eur. Tikime, kad Norvegijos finansinio mechanizmo finansuojamas projektas atvers mums galimybes šiuos planus įgyvendinti. Projekto tikslas – siekdama mažinti neigiamą įmonės vykdomos veiklos poveikį aplinkai bei tausoti gamtos išteklius, UAB „Vli Timber“ inicijavo šį projektą, kurio metu įsigis ir gamybos procese įdiegs inovatyvias aukštatemperatūrines konvekcines medienos džiovyklas. Projekto metu bus įdiegtos aplinkai palankios technologijos, kurios leis įmonei sumažnti gamtos išteklių naudojimą bei į aplinką išmetamų teršalų kiekį ir tokiu būdu sumažinti neigiamą įmonės vykdomos veiklos poveikį aplinkai. Projekto rezultatai taip pat prisidės prie įmonės konkurencingumo didinimo – greitesnio klientų užsakymų vykdymo, aukštesnės produkcijos kokybės, didesnio gamybos našumo. Malkų džiovinimo technologinio proceso pakeitimas leis reikšmingai sumažinti gamyboje naudojamas elektros energijos ir biokuro sąnaudas bei į aplinkos orą išmetamų teršalų (anglies monoksido) kiekius. 2. Užtikrinti sėkmingą projekte numatomos įsigyti įrangos įdiegimą UAB „Vli Timber“ gamyboje, pasiekiant užsibrėžtus tikslus, mažinant gamtos išteklių naudojimą ir aplinkos taršą. 3. Užtikrinti, kad projekte numatytos įrangos ir paslaugų pirkimai būtų atlikti laikantis 2014–2021 m. Europos ekonominės erdvės ir Norvegijos finansinių mechanizmų projektų bei Dvišalio bendradarbiavimo fondo projektų pirkimų priežiūros ir neperkančiųjų organizacijų bei perkančiųjų organizacijų pagal Reglamentus pirkimų vykdymo tvarkos aprašo reikalavimų. ### Norway Grants We are currently participating in the Norwegian Financial Mechanism program “Business Development, Innovation, and SMEs.” We believe that it aligns with our needs and future vision. As we constantly discuss ideas for expansion, we have been considering the construction of new drying facilities. We aim for them to be more efficient, reduce the energy consumed in wood drying, and minimize their negative impact on the environment. We believe that the project funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism will open opportunities for us to implement these plans. The goal of the project is to reduce the negative environmental impact of the company’s operations and conserve natural resources. UAB “Vli Timber” has initiated this project, in which innovative high-temperature convection wood drying kilns will be acquired and implemented in the production process. During the project, environmentally friendly technologies will be implemented, allowing the company to reduce the use of natural resources and the emission of pollutants into the environment, thus minimizing the negative environmental impact of its operations. The project’s results will also contribute to enhancing the company’s competitiveness, such as faster order fulfillment, higher product quality, and increased production efficiency. The project “Implementation of Environmentally Friendly Technologies in Vli Timber” is being implemented from 2014 to 2021 with funds from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the State Budget of the Republic of Lithuania. We all know that kiln dried logs are better for our health, help to reduce pollution, have better heat output and reduce maintenance costs of a stove and chimney. But did you know that a kiln drying process can be better for the environment than air drying? Keep reading and you will get your answer. If you look on the right side of the first image, you will see an air dried logs manufacturing process from 100m3 raw wood to energy production equivalent to 201920kWh. On the left side you will see the Vli Timber kiln drying process producing 226970kWh, which is 12% more renewable energy in comparison with air dried production. HOW? Let’s take it step by step.   On the right side, from 100m3 birch air dried production, you will lose around 5m3 in 12 months due to natural rotting while air drying and produce 7m3 of wood waste during the splitting process, leaving 88m3 of air dried logs. On the left, a kiln dried process uses sawdust and wood waste for heating boilers (7m3 of wood), and electricity (equivalent to 0.17m2 of wood) to operate the kilns, and dry the logs within 45-60 hours. Meaning, the equivalent of 7.17m3 of wood is used efficiently in production, making Vli Timber a zero-waste manufacturer. After splitting 100m3 of wood and air drying process you are left with 7m3 of wet non-efficient wood waste and 88 m3 of logs that remain 25% of moisture, which have less heat output. Air dried logs and wood waste create 201920kWh of energy. After splitting 100m3 of wood and kiln drying at Vli Timber you are left with 95m3 of 15% moisture logs that are ready to burn, producing more heat and creating up to 12% more renewable energy - 226970kWh. The numbers speak for itself, it is obvious that the Vli Timber kiln drying process creates more energy compared to any air drying process, however, how about the CO2 emission? Isn’t it the air drying creates less CO2 than the kiln drying technique? You will probably be surprised that Vli Timber kiln drying and any air drying process creates the same amount of CO2. Furthermore, if we leave the same 100m3 of wood to rot in the forest, it creates the same amount of CO2 as making kiln dried logs and burning them in the stove in total. The reason is that wood while rotting emits the same amount of CO2 as burning. To reach the environmental benefits mentioned above Vli Timber completely renewed their wood drying process in 2020. The subscription period of the first tranche is 14 May 2025 - 28 May 2025. Purpose of the Bond Issuance VLI Timber is issuing bonds to raise working capital for the development of a new production facility in Jonava. The plant is expected to start operations in 2027 and will increase the company’s processing capacity from 120,000 m³ to more than 300,000 m³ of wood per year. The facility will be constructed by an external partner under a built-to-suit lease model and leased to VLI Timber upon completion. Bond proceeds will primarily be used to finance equipment procurement – a critical step for launching operations. The company has secured €8.1 million in government subsidies, covering up to 80% of eligible equipment costs. However, these funds are available only after procurement, via a reimbursement model. Thus, bridge financing through bonds is essential to complete the investment cycle.   2025 06 16 During the bond placement, demand reached EUR 4.2 million, with approximately 450 investors participating in the public offering. Dieser drastische Rückgang hat positive Auswirkungen auf die Endpreise für Brennholz. Die meisten Brennholzhändler haben ihre Preise entsprechend um durchschnittlich 40 Prozent gesenkt, was die finanzielle Belastung für die Endverbraucher erheblich reduziert hat.       Jedoch ist diese Reduzierung des Verkaufspreises von Brennholz prozentual gesehen geringer, da andere Kosten in der Lieferkette seit letztem September nicht gesenkt wurden. Einige Händler konnten nicht die gesamte Menge an Brennholz verkaufen und sind daher gezwungen, ihre hochpreisigen Produkte zum erheblich gesunkenen Marktpreis anzubieten. Dieser Umstand verdeutlicht die Dynamik und die Herausforderungen des Brennholzmarktes in den aktuellen Zeiten. ### Projects ### Norway grants   We are currently participating in the Norwegian Financial Mechanism program "Business Development, Innovation, and SMEs." We believe that it aligns with our needs and future vision. As we constantly discuss ideas for expansion, we have been considering the construction of new drying facilities. We aim for them to be more efficient, reduce the energy consumed in wood drying, and minimize their negative impact on the environment. We believe that the project funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism will open opportunities for us to implement these plans. The goal of the project is to reduce the negative environmental impact of the company's operations and conserve natural resources. UAB "Vli Timber" has initiated this project, in which innovative high-temperature convection wood drying kilns will be acquired and implemented in the production process. During the project, environmentally friendly technologies will be implemented, allowing the company to reduce the use of natural resources and the emission of pollutants into the environment, thus minimizing the negative environmental impact of its operations. The project's results will also contribute to enhancing the company's competitiveness, such as faster order fulfillment, higher product quality, and increased production efficiency. The project "Implementation of Environmentally Friendly Technologies in Vli Timber" is being implemented from 2014 to 2021 with funds from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the State Budget of the Republic of Lithuania. Nuo 2009 m. veikianti įmonė yra didžiausia džiovintų malkų gamintoja Lietuvoje, kurios misija - gaminti aukščiausios kokybės džiovintas malkas krosnims ir židiniams.  UAB „Vli Timber“ siekdama spręsti problemą susijusią su patikimo ir tinkamo biokuro (granulių, briketų, malkų ir kt.) tiekėjo suradimu, inicijuoja Projektą, kurio metu numato sukurti inovatyvią, konkurencingą biokuro (bei kitų produktų ir paslaugų) pardavimo platformą, kurios pradinė misija yra padaryti biokuro rinką efektyvesnę, skaidresnę, paprastesnę bei sukurti didesnę vertę visoms dalyvaujančioms šalims. Skaitmeninių technologijų dėka gamintojas iš anksto galės žinoti kiek jis užsakymų turės kitai dienai. Taip bus mažinamos gamintojo atsargos ir lieknės tiekimo grandinė. Skaitmeninės inžinerijos sprendimai leis klientams matyti geriausius gamintojų pasirinkimus.  Šis Projektas iš dalies finansuojamas Europos regioninės plėtros fondo lėšomis pagal 2014–2020 metų Europos Sąjungos fondų investicijų veiksmų programos 13 prioriteto „Veiksmų, skirtų COVID-19 pandemijos sukeltai krizei įveikti, skatinimas ir pasirengimas aplinką tausojančiam, skaitmeniniam ir tvariam ekonomikos atgaivinimui“ Nr. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-310 priemonę „Paskatos kultūros ir kūrybinių industrijų sektoriui kurti konkurencingus kultūros produktus“. Bendra projekto vertė siekia 178.796,59 eurus, iš kurių 123.369,65 eurai sudaro Europos Sąjungos subsidija, o 55.426,94 eurai – įmonės nuosavas indėlis. Projekto veiklos pradėtos įgyvendinti 2022 m. liepos mėn. 8 d. ir bus užbaigtos 2023 m. kovo mėn. 31 d. ### Projects Projekto „Aplinkai palankių technologijų diegimas įmonėje Vli Timber“ poveikis   Parama daro teigiamą poveikį ir leidžia maksimaliai efektyvinti džiovykloje džiovinamų malkų procesą, vykdyti veiklą be neigiamo poveikio aplinkai maksimaliai sumažinant neigiamą poveikį aplinkai ir pilnai automatizuoti atliekamus darbus Tokiu būdu įmonė didina savo konkurencinį pranašumą, pateikdama rinkai geresnį produktą už mažesnę kainą. Projektui „Aplinkai palankių technologijų diegimas įmonėje Vli Timber“ gautos lėšos padės atnaujinti įmonės procesus, susijusius su medienos džiovinimu. Diegiamos inovacijos paspartins veiklos atlikimo trukmę, padės taupyti laiką ir sumažins kitus kaštus. Konkrečiau tariant, projekto metu bus įsigytos 9 naujos aukštatemperatūrinės džiovyklų kameros. Jos leis džiovinti medieną kur kas aukštesnėje temperatūroje. Tokioje temperatūroje mediena išdžiūna 50% greičiau nei mūsų senose džiovyklose. Sumažinus džiovinimo ciklo trukmę, bus sutaupoma šilumos ir elektros energija. Atsižvelgiant į tai, kad šiuo metu „Vli Timber“ įmonės gamybos proceso silpnoji grandis yra džiovinimo procesas, įdiegti minėtas inovacijas mums itin svarbu. Taigi, galima daryti išvadą, jog po projekto įgyvendinimo įmonė galės pagaminti dvigubai daugiau produkcijos.   Anykščiuose bus diegiamos norvegiškos inovacijos   „Vli Timber“ užsakymu sukurtą konvekcinę džiovinimo įrangą diegti padeda Norvegijos bendrovė „Vepak“, dirbanti su didžiausiais pasaulyje malkų gamintojais. Main articles are: fresh and kiln dried firewood packed in crates, net bags or Vli Timber plastic bags. Every production stage starting from sourcing of wood, firewood drying, stacking to quality control, is carefully monitored by qualified specialists in order to assure each step is completely accurately.   Vli Firewood is produced from logs, sourced from well-managed forests as company operates under FSC® chain of custody (FSC-C109548) policy. Before entering production site, logs are carefully selected and sorted against certain criteria. Firewood is cut either to 25cm, 30cm or length pieces. Log pieces undergo several sorting stages, thus rotten or non-standard logs are set aside while good ones end up in pallets. Hand-stacking allows to fit as much firewood into one crate as possible. Packed firewood is dried in special timber drying kilns, reaching up to 90°C temperature.
